On-site skills training:
At Jobstart, we take training seriously such that after theory and practical at the centre, we send learners to have experience
in a practical manner at various institutions such as guest houses, Inns, Lodges, restaurants and hotels.
Personalised Assessment: A learner undergoes various assessments to make sure that one is competent. Should it happen
that a learner is not ready after a set period of training, couching is organised to assist the particular learner.
Employment Placement Assistance: We emphasise that learners after their training should look for jobs themselves. It is
important for learners to find their own job above all that is why we provide Life Skills to them so that they can easily market
themselves. The other advantage for them to find their own jobs is that it becomes easy for them to leave the employer if
they are not happy and go for greener pastures. However, we assist with job placements wherever possible.
Labour Laws: is to assist the learners to know various legal issues pertaining to labour such as their rights and the
importance of having contracts with an employer before reporting for work.
