Welcome Jobstart   Jobstart Training & Dev Centre is one of  the projects under Economic Development  Programme Focus Area (Ecodev), headed  by Mr Chance Chagunda, as its Manager.  Ecodev is one of the 4 Focus Areas of the  Catholic Welfare & Development (CWD).  CWD was founded in 1972 and its present  director is Ms Lungisa Huna. CWD operates  mainly in the Western Cape Province and  its vision being a leading, dynamic organisation professionally  enhancing self-reliant communities. Training provided by Jobstart plays a crucial role in building human  capital, personal growth and giving the unemployed a means to  sustain themselves and their households.   As Jobstart, we are happy to see that we are making a difference in  providing needed skills, contributing to the alleviation of poverty and  building communities.  Jobstart's Goal:   To empower the disadvantaged and unemployed by teaching skills  that will help them find a job or start their own business.  By doing  so, Jobstart improves the quality of life of its students and creates  self sustaining communities.  Every Jobstart Course includes:  * Professional Skills Development  * Practical - On-Site  Training  * Life Skills  module  * Personalised Assessment  * Employment Placement Assistance  * Certificate of Course Completion    Copyrights 2010.
